Why are women's haircuts so expensive, and yet men can get theirs cut for a haypenny?

This is the only good hair salon in Norwich
This salon is straight out of the early 2000s. They don't talk to you, there are exclusively very old ladies in there, they charge you £20 for a spray down and a cut, and the only downside is listening to Greatest Hits Radio for 45 minutes.
